Here we will think, share, make suggestions, brainstorm ideas and compare.
The School Based Committee for Gifted Education (SBCGE) meet on Thursday to review students with potential on Track 2,3 and 4 for possible testing. Letters and emails will go out to families on Monday and Tuesday. Friday was early release and teacher's spent the afternoon working on curriculum and partnerships for reaching the potential of students. I continue to organize and consolidate data on students who were nominated or have shown potential through EOG grades and report cards. Please continue to look for opportunties to discuss your student's school activities and assignments. We all need encouragement along the way. My daughter, Natalie is a sophmore at Broughton High in Raleigh she shared the following TED talk from her Honor's English II course this week. I think it is great to reflect upon as a parent, as a teacher and never giving up the opportunity to be a student.
